Berimo doma, bi lahko bilo vodilo tokratnega skupnega performansa, ki so se ga po enem letu premora znova odločili izvesti ustvarjalci iz različnih okolij in usmeritev, vendar s skupno željo po glasnem prebiranju izbranih, kvalitetnih tekstov oziroma knjig. Bral bom 3x različnim ljudem, profesorici nemščine, živi sama in ni iztopila ze mesec dni iz stanovanja. Potem pesniku, ki ne more več brat, je slep in moji sestri, ki je lani doživela dve možganski kapi in tudi ni zapustila stanovanja že mesec dni.

Branje članka sociologa in družbenega kritika Franka Furedija: Knjižni norci (Bookish fools), ki je bil objavljen na Aeonovi strani, 20. oktobra 2016; (mi) kaže premislek (o stanju in lastni udeležbi) bralnih performansov. Le ti so bili individualna raziskovanja performativnega v okviru platforme bralnih performansov in so dajala vsakemu posameznemu performerju lastne okvire bodisi z vsebinami, oblikami, koncepti … performativnega branja. Fuedi predstavi različne vidike zanimanja za knjige skozi zgodovino in med drugim izpostavi tudi njihovo branje kot performans. To mi je bilo zanimivo kot izhodišče performativnega branja, ki bi ga v tokratni izdaji bral doma skupaj z generatorjem besedila v glas (Spik.AI) - vstavljal besedilo v generator in jih ponavljal za tem, ko jih bo prebral program.

Jaz bom bral kar tiho, zase in intimno. To seveda ni ravno javno branje, je pa odraz časa, ko je javno tako in tako ukinjeno, za maskami in policijskimi blokadami. V roke bom vzel zadnjo pridobitev na domači knjižni polici delo "Olga" Bernharda Schlinka, ki je avtor tudi bolj znanega "Bralca". Še ena simbolna povezava pa je, da je bil moj zadnji javni dogodek ravno obisk pogovora s Schlinkom na otvoritvi letošnje fabule. "Olga" je zgodba o osebi, ki se preko svojega nacističnega moža moralno in osebno sooča z avtoritarnimi spremembanmi družbe. Tudi z redefinicijami javnega. Takrat in danes.

Potem, ko sem začela brati knjigo Jiŕija Bezlaja, ki me je s pronicljivostjo in sočnostjo spravila v res dobro voljo sem se odločila, da bi jo brala javno. Šele naknadno sem izvedela za ves prah, ki ga je povzročila v tej mali Sloveniji! Zdaj me še toliko bolj veseli, da jo berem v sklopu našega performansa.


A short review of project ESKAMONTAŽA

There is a focus on city Bor, history as well culture, on Serbian Television. In 2015 I was invited by Goran Milenković to be part of an art project for an art book: Eskamontaža - striptiz svobode. Artists took part in the homage of Djordje Andrejević - Kun graphic work: Krvavo zlato / Bloody gold.

Biobot - Insider presented in Paris

The Biobot Insider was presented on the final event of the STARTS Residencies Program (VERTIGO), which as a result presented some of the main achievements of this program and showcase the results of 3 years of art, technology and science collaborations involving more than 100 artists, scientists and engineers.
Presentation in the form of exhibition installation was in the 104 Factory, the cultural and creative start-up incubator of the CENTQUATRE-PARIS.

Drift wood sculpture on group exhibition in Kranj

Group exhibition Mali format 2019 (Small size) at Mala galerija Kranj,
17 december 2019 – 6 februar 2020

The Small size 2019 exhibition was opened at the Mala galerija of the Kranj's Art Society on Tuesday, December 17th. The Society traditionally organizes the Small size exhibition at the end of the year as a group exhibition of members. It could be said that the size of the format determines both the number of members and the space of the gallery, as well as the desire to make such a size more appropriate for New Year's gifts. For the artists themselves, the smaller size often does not mean a shortcut, as it would be in the case of a sketch or model, but the production of an artwork can be just as challenging as in larger formats - of course, we could basically say that everything depends on the technique, the material and also the individual artist. Small-format works, on the other hand, may also be closer to certain gestures and the space in which the artist works. If an artist were to develop a particular expression gesture, it would be difficult for the artist to repeat the gesture in a larger format.

Exhibition Densifying at Mestna galerija Ljubljana

GROUP EXHIBITION OF LJUBLJANA'S SCULPTORS: DENSIFYING
February 6, 2018 - March 25, 2018 (19:00)

 

The exhibition continues the exhibition and theoretical research (by curator dr. Sarival Sosič) of modern Slovenian sculpture with the selection of some of the most prominent Slovenian sculptors and sculptors of different generations. The exhibition will feature Polona Demšar, Aleksandra Saška Gruden, Zoran Srdić Janežič, Anže Jurkovšek, Spiro Mason, Mojca Smerdu, Jožef Vrščaj, Tomaž Zarifa.

 

On the exhibition, I will present two sculptures made with different materials featuring mechanism of moving a bucket up and leaving it in freefall. Mechanism - electronic devices are operated through sensors and Arduino programming by Matic Potočnik and Blaž Berdnik. The process of a work was mainly working on a construction made from two parts of welded steel which were later hand-modeled with gypsum. The heads were made from polystyrene and armored with different resins. Basic style is the creating of an artwork from different materials / construction of assembly and / automated movements - hence the programming and hacking of motors (Matic and Blaž). The title of an artwork is: Svet je vaš, ampak naš, ampak vaš (World is yours, but ours, but yours)

The basic idea was relating to the Beethoven's Ninth (or Coral) Symphony - which is traditionally considered as a celebration of a brotherhood of some Planetary proportions. As there is a brotherhood of man there is also opposite side which is neglected. This side in antihumanistic terms is related to all living forms having the right to a decent form of a living. From first sketches, there are visible animals like guards that were later descended from original Beethovenian idea to a hog and a deer like figures

Ko se zdani, se prikaže pot iz gozda, svetilnik ponoči nakazuje kopno in z njim rešitev. Svetlobo se v mnogih kulturah povezuje s spregledanjem, razsvetljenjem, znanjem. Za branje in zapisovanje je bila potrebna svetloba sveče in kakor so pri pisavi pomembne praznine med črtami, beline, lahko na arhitekturo gledamo kot na poigravanje s prostorom in svetlobo. Tega se je dobro zavedal tudi Plečnik, ko si je zamislil stopnišče v knjižnici, ki se dviguje k svetlobi, medtem ko stopamo proti znanju. Tudi njegovi stebri-luči na tivolski promenadi so svetlobni otoki, ki nam kažejo pot med drevesi, in prav te stebre se je ekipa Srdića Janežiča odločila preoblikovati v svetilnike – premične komunikatorje.

Svetlobni stebri so se namreč pričeli gibati in niso več le statične točke, zanesljive koordinate v temi. Medtem ko se pomikajo po svoji nepredvidljivi poti, med sabo ustvarjajo jezik s pomočjo svetlobnih signalov in si tako sporočajo bližino/oddaljenost. Avtor razvija svojo fascinacijo z mehanizmi, gibanjem in odzivnimi objekti, ki jo je začrtal že s projektoma Corporis animati (2015) in Konjska moč – poetika gibanja (2016). Z masovnostjo in robustnostjo svojih instalacij ponuja protiutež cyber kulturi brezsnovnega in virtualnega, njegovi predmeti-avtomati-živali so še kako fizično prisotni in telesni. V fokusu je bolj nepredvidljivo vedenje teh premičnih, oživljenih teles, kot brezhibno delovanje in namenskost, ki ju od strojev običajno pričakujemo.

Zoran Srdić Janežič (r. 1974) je akademski kipar, vizualni umetnik in izdelovalec lutk, zaposlen v Lutkovnem gledališču Ljubljana. Deluje na področju sodobne umetnosti: performans, kiparstvo, risba, grafika in artist book. V svojem delu s pomočjo humorja poudarja nevralgične točke v našem vsakdanjem življenju in v globalnih trendih. Pogosto uporablja klasične kiparske materiale na netradicionalen način ali obratno (kipi iz prašičje maščobe) ter ustvarja z različnimi sodobnmi mediji: videom, animacijo, 3D printom, AR kodami, nanotehnologijo. Je avtor preko 20 samostojnih in številnih skupinskih razstav v Sloveniji.
